We strongly believe that God in Psalm 2:9 has called to ask Him for the nations as our inheritance.We have no other option than to lay down our lives in order to fulfill the great commission of our Lord Jesus Christ to go and make disciples of all nations.

Since the beginning of Shofar we have sent out numerous teams to nations across the globe. Some of these include:

Europe - England (London) and Turkey
Southern Africa - Namibia, Mozambique, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Malawi, Zambia, Pretoria
East Africa- Kenya
West Africa - Nigeria , Angola
Northern Africa- Rwanda
Asia
Americas - USA

We have no plans to stop sending teams around the world spreading the Gospel. Our specific aim is to send teams to unreachead nations including India and China where almost a third of the world's population can be found.

Tartrek is an intercessory outreach which circles the borders of South Africa, while at the same time promoting Prochorus Community Developments. Approximately fifteen cyclists/ intercessors from Shofar Stellenbosch mount their bicycles to undergo a rigorous 45 day tour covering 5000km. These cyclist are mostly amateurs with very little cycling experience.

The purpose of this exercise is to draw a bloodline of prayer around South Africa in obedience to God's command to do a Jericho march of 7 years. We have successfully completed this tour for six consecutive years and 2005-2006 will be the seventh tour.

The vision of Go South Africa was birthed six years ago when Ps. Frans Esser and Ps. Andries van der Merwe first responded to the Lord's call to do a Jericho march around the borders of South Africa: to proclaim and minister the gospel of Jesus Christ so that the walls of division, disobedience, poverty, hatred and separation would break down, thereby bringing true freedom to our nation.
